Hola, hola!
Welcome to my Internet lab.
Why an internet lab? As an accessible user experience (AUX) designer, it is important to me to learn more about what makes your internet experience worthwhile. This website is a good place as any for me to learn from you.
Who am I?
My name is Mark McGuire.
After years of struggling with the sound barrier and the inclusion of sign language in our world, I decided to become the change I want to be for everyone to enjoy connecting with.
You can continue reading more about me or if you already have some idea of who I am, you can enjoy my latest posts on my blog.

About this site
This website is part of my social brand where I share what I know with you.

Being Deaf
It is important to understand that I identify as a culturally Deaf person. Yes, I can talk for myself. Yes, I can write for myself. But I prefer sign language.

Accessibility
If you are unable to access information on the Internet, you are experiencing barriers. As a Deaf person, I can relate which is why I enjoy discussing accessibility.

Disability Inclusion
It is not possible to talk about accessibility without centering people with disability in the conversation.

Our nomadic lifestyle
While I have been nomadic since 1993, it’s only been a few years since my girlfriend and I starting moving around together. Needless to say, it’s been a wonderful adventure.
