It turns out that all of Puebla’s city parks are closed due the recent activity from the nearby volcano, El Popo. If you are not aware, the National Public Radio has good posts, Popocatépetl volcano spews smoke and ash and El Popo has seen increased activity lately.

We are now housesitting in Puebla with four dogs.

The sun is now rising over San Miguel de Allende. Once upon a time, our view contained a lake. Now our view contains the lake bed since the lake is drying out. It is a bittersweet view since it is still pretty with the green vegetation on the lake bed but no more water.

It is a chilly morning here in San Miguel de Allende. You can smell the smoke in the air. The smoke made me think about the need to spread clean fuel to the under-developed regions around the world. Buenos dia, world!
