Volume surges

A volume surge is an increase in the number of assets being traded between buyers and sellers. It can be bullish (an increased number of buyers) or bearish (an increased number of sellers). As a rule, I search for assets that are trading two or more times the average volume. For example, if the average volume is 1 million, then a surge would be two million or more.
